The Qualitative Research Manager will be part of Suzy’s Center of Excellence. They will work with various teams across the company and will focus on end-to-end market research support for qualitative and in-home user tests (IHUTs). This will include the full research process from programming, downloading and analyzing qualitative data, to synthesizing findings into actionable client recommendations for a broad range of clients & specialties (innovations, communications assessment, foundational learnings, UX & product development, etc.).

You are skilled at remaining objective, exhibiting exceptional listening skills, generating creative solutions to new research requests, and challenging assumptions. You drive effective communication, are skilled at setting goals and expectations, and enjoy “connecting the dots” and generating insights across a variety of research methodologies. 


  • Lead oversight of day-to-day client relationships with a roster of enterprise clients
  • Become an expert in the client’s business and industry
  • Lead efforts to provide strategic recommendations to support clients' business needs
  • Field unique & custom qualitative and IHUT research projects to answer clients’ critical business questions.
  • Design questionnaires for qualitative and IHUT research projects
  • Compile and analyze qualitative and quantitative data & create PPT charts/presentations to summarize key findings and learnings from clients’ projects
  • Lead delivery of client training on platform functionality
  • Responsible for renewals for clients prior to the end of their license
  • Execute work in a timely, efficient manner
  • Execute fulfillment of internal job tracking and management systems
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent
  • 5-8 years experience working in market research and/ or client success
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, being proactive, great work ethics, and a positive attitude to embrace challenges are a must.
  • Highly motivated with eagerness to learn, and possess a driven personality capable of working within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate efficiently with cross-functional team members
  • 5-8 years experience and comfort with client-facing conversations, managing expectations, building client relationships, presenting findings and discussing business implications.  (Skills commensurate with experience)
  • Understanding of qualitative research, survey methodology, and questionnaire design
  • Basic knowledge of qualitative market research techniques including Focus Groups, IDIs, diaries, asynchronous video etc.  
  • End-to-end primary research experience, including research scope, survey design, programming, sampling, fielding, data collection and quality assurance, data analysis, reporting, and presentation.
  • Basic knowledge of market research data processing and analytics software including advanced expertise with Excel
  • Basic Working knowledge of statistical packages such as SPSS, R, or Q Research Software.
  • Basic working knowledge of survey programming tools, such as SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, or Alchemer (previously SurveyGizmo).
  • Ability to translate business questions into research questions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong client service orientation.
  • Exceptional analytical & storytelling skills, including the ability to translate research results into business implications
