Overview

Suzy is on a mission to disrupt the world of market research and better enable human understanding for our customers, primarily the Fortune 500. We are looking for an Enterprise Sales Leader to supercharge our fast-growing Sales organization and lead a team of Account Executives as we look to expand our largest and most valuable accounts. 

 

In this role, you’ll be a leader and a coach. You’ll be responsible for driving sales strategy and growth across our enterprise account relationships while guiding a team of Account Executives as they build and develop relationships with the largest customers at Suzy.  You’ll partner with Customer Success, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Product, Audience, and other departments to drive this agenda. You’ll also work directly with Suzy’s executives to ensure that the company’s exciting vision is translated through its sales team, day in and day out.

 

In short, you’ll lead a team at the cutting edge of market research technology, as it works to help the largest enterprise brands stay at the cutting edge of their increasingly competitive industries.

 

On a typical day, you might find yourself:

 

  • Creating & Executing Sales Strategies
      • Translating company vision and marketing language into a sales pitch, collateral, demo, etc.
      • Gaining deep understanding of key industries and accounts, developing multiple tailored pitches to ensure relevancy. Strategizing on a deal-by-deal basis to ensure team always puts its best foot forward
  • Playing, Coaching & Managing:
      • Carry your own quota as an individual contributor
      • Coach junior team members across the Sales organization
      • Directly manage AE(s) and help drive success
  • Building & Managing Processes:
    • Analyzing current sales team processes, planning and implementing improvements
    • Working backward from revenue goals to define targets across each stage of the pipeline
    • Reporting on sales activity and managing quarterly revenue forecasts

Responsibilities

  • Directly support a team of Enterprise Account Executives that have fun winning together
  • Support ongoing growth and development including recruiting, hiring, training and mentoring reps
  • Participate in customer and prospect meetings to help define a strong business case
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Customer Success and other cross-functional teams to drive success and prioritize where Suzy invests its resources
  • Identify product and technology gaps with Customers and present a point of view to Suzy’s Product and Leadership Teams
  • Conduct weekly pipeline meetings and coach Account Executives on strategies to reach their goals
  • Report on sales activity and manage a regular revenue forecast on Salesforce
  • Achieve key performance metrics and goals
  • Work with your team to discuss, plan and implement process improvements

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Sales experience preferably within an Enterprise SaaS organization
  • 5+ years of Sales Management experience preferably within an Enterprise SaaS organization
  • Solid understanding of Enterprise SaaS applications and market research technology
  • Consistent track record of selling software into large Enterprise accounts and achieving personal and team goals
  • Ability to grow business in a strategic manner including demand generation
  • Excellent coaching, writing, discovery and presentation skills
  • History of thriving in a rapidly-changing environment
  • Enthusiasm for deepening customer relationships
  • Comfortable and willing to be a hands-on contributor
